Overall, I am incredibly happy with my decision. The dress was vacuum sealed in multiple layers of packing material and turned inside out for safety. The dress was very heavy with solid stitches, inner lining, & a wire bodice built in to define waist shape . Of course, I had to have it altered locally since I declined to have the custom alterations done by the company. (Which I planned on doing because their standard sizes did not fit my measurements perfectly.)
The dress was not exactly like the one that I ordered on the site. My advice to everyone is to not have your heart set on the EXACT replica of the dress ordered. There will be some differences but that is a sacrifice that I was willing to make for a $200 wedding dress.
The beadwork on the waistband was not what was displayed on the picture. It looked a little cheap but it certainly was not the focal point of the dress and did not take away from it. The lace-up back made a very long bow in the back, as the ribbon was very long. I am not sure how it was fastened in the photo on the website, I think the model must have had it tucked into the dress maybe. But it did drape down the back. (See the side-view photo of me sitting on the chair.) The dress did not have a dramatic "mermaid" shape at the bottom, but once again, the model may have staged it to look more flowing.
Overall, I have no regrets ordering my dress from Inweddingdress.com. Even though it was not the exact replica, it was still a beautiful, high-quality dress for an amazing price. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it the same way.
